God the Father, you raised up your servant, Archdeacon Cavanagh, Parish Priest of Knock at the time of the Apparition to be an exemplary model of priesthood.   We thank you for his life assiduous in works of charity and piety, unwearying in the Confessional and marked with a remarkable devotion to the ever-Immaculate Mother of God.   With confidence, we ask you through his intercession, to please grant the petition/request we lay before you (name petition/request).   We also ask if it be in accordance with your Holy will, that the holiness of his life may be acknowledged by the Church for the glory of your name through Christ Our Lord.   Amen
